Al Germain is the Head of Technology and Resource Assessment for Orion and is responsible for managing site identification, data acquisition, wind and solar resource assessment, site layout design and operational performance auditing. Al has more than 30 years of experience in the wind industry, working in the United States, Europe and Asia. He has held lead positions in resource assessment and site design for several major wind energy companies. Mr. Germain received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and atmospheric science from Oregon State University.
