Carrie Madio Struzynski is a registered nurse, a board certified case manager, a FL licensed healthcare risk manager, and an all-lines insurance adjuster. Aside from earning advanced educational degrees in nursing and business, she has completed her doctoral research and dissertation in nursing (hand-offs). She has served as a risk management vice president for a Florida medical malpractice insurance company, an assistant claims vice president for a New York reinsurance corporation and president of a Florida third party claims administrator. As the quarterback of Randstad North America’s workers’ comp program, she helped to create and implement a national early intervention and early resolution worker’s compensation model which has produced over $50 Million in savings to date. She has written chapters on risk management, insurance and safety; newsletters and articles; received grant funding; received research and teaching awards, and, is an invited speaker at several national medical and worker’s comp meetings.
