Mike has spoken over 40 times at propane conventions/trade shows; including the NPGA Expo, M-PACT, NPGA Pinnacles, Midwest, WPGA, Alabama, West Virginia, Minnesota, MAPGA, Rocky Mountain, Colorado/New Mexico, Nevada and North Central. He has presented many 'Bobtail Operating, Cost & Efficiency Analyses' for the Rocky Mountain and Minnesota Propane Associations, as well as the NPGA Benchmarking Council, plus a 'Service Income Benchmarking Study' and for Benchmarking. Mike has 46 years of diverse industry experience; including: a Fortune 200 company (Lockheed), insurance, manufacturing, homebuilding, real-estate and food service. His 27 years of propane industry experience includes a Midwestern multi-state independent marketer, business consultant/advisor and a software developer. Mike’s background includes a B.A. (Psychology), M.A. (Finance/Accounting; Ohio State), CPA and MBA instructor. Mike has been happily married to Marsha for 45 years. He enjoys photography, biking, basketball, chess, traveling and hiking with Marsha in the great outdoors – especially in the breathtaking Grand Canyon.
