Romel Villanueva

Exsa S.A.


Romel Villanueva has about 11 years of experience on explosives and blasting engineering. He has realized first studies in Physic and then in Mining Engineering at National University of Trujillo, Peru. He has worked as explosives application engineer in Famesa S.A., at mines in Peru and Chile with the application of explosives emulsion. He has worked as project engineer in Davey Bickford, introducing the use the electronic detonator in Peru. He has worked as technical consultant in Exsa S.A., improving the blasting services to the mines. He has published papers at local conferences. Today, in parallel to his work in the industry, he is a part time teacher in the National University of Engineering (Lima) and National University of Trujillo.
