Israel Mendoza is a Vice President and Payments Sales Manager at J.P. Morgan. Based in Washington, D.C. he leads payments strategy and sales coverage for select set of U.S. federal government organizations, agencies, operators and contractors. Israel helps these government entities modernize payment operations, reduce reliance on legacy payment methods and systems, and accelerate secure, mission critical disbursements and collections across banking accounts, legacy and developing payment rails, commercial cards, merchant services, and other payment platforms. This work includes embedding preventative controls within payment workflows to help detect and mitigate fraudulent and improper payments before they occur. With deep experience across the intersection of government and payments, bank services, and public sector procurement, Israel regularly advises agencies on digitization strategies that balance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Israel holds graduate degrees in Law, Data Science, and Business Management, and brings prior professional experience spanning the J.P Morgan's Consumer and Commercial Divisions, the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, NASA, Intel Corp's Government team, consumer banking organizations, and the National Football League.
