Khaled Alkurd spent more than a decade helping run operations for his family's five-state home inspection company before going deep on accounting at George Mason University's Costello College of Business. After earning his BS in Accounting and Business Analytics, he is now completing an MS in Accounting Analytics and Forensic Accounting, and he serves as President of Beta Alpha Psi Theta Alpha (Est. 1981) and as an MS Accounting Student Ambassador. This summer he is interning with PwC's Deals practice in Washington, DC, working on financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. His team also took first place at the 2026 AGA National Datathon, where they worked through more than 74 million federal spending records and flagged over $1 trillion in high-risk federal assistance. Khaled cares about using data to make government spending more transparent and accountable, and he is glad to join this panel to talk about how we bring the next generation into this work.
