Michael Ungaro took the leadership position in his family's business in 2013 shifting the business from fish market/restaurant to media company by documenting and telling the family's story through a self produced reality series called Kings of Fi$H. The result was astounding. After 13 years of flat sales growth, revenues jump 10%+ every year for 7 years till the pandemic hit. But the pandemic didn't put the business down, it built a brand so strong San Pedro Fish Market thrived in the pandemic maintaining sales and continuing to grow!
