Hailing from Charleston, South Carolina, Nick Pierce is a full-time instructor in the Workforce Development Division at Northern Virginia Community College. His primary teaching role allows him to prepare candidates for industry certifications including CompTIA and EC-Council curriculums. Previous roles included active duty service with the U.S. Navy with six operational deployments overseas, government subcontract work in curriculum development and training program design for the U.S. Navy and Army SOC. Aside from his professional enjoyment of the IT and tech spaces, Nick enjoys traveling for music festivals and concerts and being in, on, and near the water with friends and family.
