Jakko Woudenberg is a Dutch wood artist and master parquet craftsman with over 28 years of experience in the wood flooring industry. Known internationally for transforming traditional parquet into large-scale storytelling art, his work explores the connection between craftsmanship, intuition, and human emotion. He is the creator of The Night Watch in Wood, a monumental artwork composed of nearly 200,000 individual wooden pixels, and of the award-winning Jaarringen Floor, a symbolic art floor reflecting time, growth, and human connection. Both projects received international recognition for innovation, artistic vision, and craftsmanship. Throughout his career, Jakko has challenged conventional industry boundaries by placing creativity, meaning, and personal expression at the heart of making. His mission is to inspire craftsmen to reconnect with their inner artist and rediscover the deeper purpose behind their work.
