Gordon Nelson




Gordon has more than 30 years of experience as a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), tax and investment advisor, and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), along with extensive work serving nonprofit organizations. He earned his master’s degree in accounting from Utah State University and has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families make the most of their financial and estate plans. A lifelong outdoorsman, Gordon has been hunting and fishing since childhood and especially enjoys fly fishing in remote waters in pursuit of big fish. His passion for wildlife and fisheries conservation aligns closely with the mission of the Wild Sheep Foundation. In his role with WSF, Gordon’s goal is to help supporters explore smart, flexible strategies within their financial and estate plans that not only strengthen their families’ financial futures but also provide funding for WSF’s fantastic conservation work into the future. Through these approaches, donors can often make a bigger impact than they may have ever thought possible, save taxes, increase income, and leave a legacy that ensures wild sheep thrive for generations to come.
