Ben is an experienced leader in the field of special education with a career spanning roles as a teacher, supervisor, director, and now Associate Executive Director for the Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education. With a strong background in supporting educators, Ben is dedicated to fostering group collaboration, building trust, and enhancing the knowledge and skills of professionals in special education. His commitment to professional growth is evident through his involvement in organizations such as the Council for Exceptional Children and the Michigan Council for Exceptional Children, where he has held multiple leadership roles. Ben's focus in his current role is on the development of learning opportunities for MAASE members and other educators throughout the state of Michigan with the ultimate goal of improving outcomes for students with disabilities.
