Allyson Satter, PhD, Program Director. Dr. Satter is Program Director at SWIFT Education Center. She holds a doctorate in Special Education from the University of Kansas. Her dissertation examined how students who exhibit challenging behaviors perceive and define positive and negative student-teacher relationships. She has extensive experience in the field of special education, working as a special educator at both the elementary and secondary level. She also worked at a district level, providing coaching support to special educators. In her role at SWIFT, she contributes to the development of research and products that support technical assistance.
