Dr. Debi Buchanan is the Administrative Director for the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and learning Disorders at Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, Texas. She spent 37 years in education serving in many roles including special education teacher in Virginia, Arizona and Texas, campus administrator in Rockwall ISD, and Executive Director over Special Education, Section 504, and Dyslexia in Rockwall ISD and Garland ISD. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education degree and Master of Special Education degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and her Doctor of Education degree from Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas.
