Kathryn Pritchard is a Director of Special Education in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, NC. Through her extensive career, she has worked at all levels of education: PreK through college focusing on improving student outcomes for all children. As a Special Educator, General Educator, Montessori Certified Educator, and Administrator she has worked extensively in recent years with teachers entering the profession from all pathways. She has developed a 3-year training plan for teachers of students with disabilities which maps out compliance and specially designed instruction learning for novice teachers.
