Tamala Williams

Tamala Williams has a B.S. and M. ED in special education. She has dedicated her work to special education for 30 years. She began her career as a special education classroom teacher, served as a district level director of special education and preschool for 13 years, finishing her work in Kentucky as director of one of nine regional Special Education Technical Assistance Centers for the KY Department of Education. She has been a long-standing member of the Council for Administrators of Special Education and currently serves as the KYCASE Administrative Coordinator. Tamala currently works for the IDEA Data Center as a state liaison and technical assistance specialist. She resides in Western Kentucky and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling with her husband of 46 years.
