Jonté A. Myers, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Special Education at Georgia State University's College of Education and Human Development, focusing oJonté A. Myers, Ph.D., serves as an Assistant Professor of Special Education in the Department of Learning Sciences within the College of Education and Human Development at Georgia State University in Atlanta, USA. He currently serves on the executive board for the Division for Learning Disabilities. His research centers around mathematics instruction, interventions, and evidence-based practices for students facing mathematics difficulties (MD), including those with and at risk for learning disabilities (LD). He has published his work in journals such as Review of Educational Research, Journal of Research on Educational Effectiveness, and Teaching Exceptional Children. Additionally, Dr. Myers investigates teacher quality and effectiveness in relation to mathematics outcomes for students with MD.
