Trisha Moritz is a dedicated Specialized Learning Services Consultant with Greenbush Education Service Center, where she supports special education leaders in implementing effective instructional strategies, strengthening SDI practices, and fostering collaboration between general and special education teams. With a background as a general education teacher, high school principal, and special education administrator, Trisha brings a unique, multi-perspective approach to special education leadership. She has spent her career bridging the gap between compliance and best practice, ensuring that Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) is not just understood—but truly impactful for students. As an experienced trainer, presenter, and consultant, Trisha has led professional development for special education teachers, school administrators, and related service providers across Kansas and beyond. She is passionate about equity, student-centered decision-making, and helping educators use data to drive meaningful student outcomes. Trisha is also an active member of KASEA (Kansas Association of Special Education Administrators) and collaborates with districts to improve IEP processes, instructional coaching models, and systems-level SDI implementation. Her engaging, hands-on presentations provide school leaders with practical, research-based strategies that can be implemented immediately. Whether working with new administrators or experienced special education teams, Trisha is committed to helping educators navigate SDI with confidence—ultimately improving access and outcomes for students with disabilities.
