Colin Curzi
Associate Director, Business Engagement

Colin Curzi is IMT’s Associate Director of Business Engagement and focuses developing the business practices that advance high-performance buildings in cities across the country. Colin spent years as a management consultant at Accenture advising clients on technology and clean energy projects. He then joined the Boston Planning and Development Agency to create the city’s “Smart Utilities” strategy and policy for climate resilient infrastructure. Following this work, Colin transitioned to the City of Baltimore to develop the smart city objectives for their Inclusive Digital Transformation Strategic Plan. In his time at Google’s urban planning venture, Sidewalk Labs, Colin developed the sustainability plan for a climate-positive neighborhood in Toronto. Most recently, he consulted for a real estate investment trust through the Environmental Defense Fund’s Climate Corps Fellowship and won the organization’s Business Case Award for his work in green buildings. Colin received a BA from Williams College and was awarded the Carey Business Fellowship to receive his MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
