I started in the Fire Protection Industry in 2008. When I got into the trade I was an Apprentice in UA Local 669. We are required to attend a 5 year Apprenticeship before you become a Journeyman. I then spent the next year running new warehouses around the Indy area before getting into the Service side of the company. Service is where I was able to apply everything that I had learned in the Apprenticeship and grow as a Journeyman. I spent 3.5 years in a service truck until the opportunity to take over our Service Department was presented to me. I have now been running our Service Department for the past almost 5 years. It has shown me another side of the industry and how to build long term relationships with company's and personnel.
