Jan has owned and operated Cityscapes for 30 years. Based in Boston, her company designs, installs and maintains interior and exterior plandscapes for the majority of Class A office buildings in Boston. Some of the owners and management companies Cityscapes partners with include JLL, CBRE, Boston Properties, C&W, and Fidelity Real Estate. In demand nationally as an experienced Biophilic designer, Jan has designed large projects including the Parkview Cancer Healing Garden in Fort Wayne, Indiana; Fidelity Investment’s Boston, SF, and North Carolina properties; Minnesota Twins Target Field living wall; and the large-scale living walls at Boston Properties Prudential Center. With a degree in horticulture and landscape design from University of NH, She is the current president of Green Plants for Green Buildings and is a GPGB Registered Trainer, presenting CE credentialed courses to BOMI, USGBC,;and AIA members, and is a frequent speaker at national and regional conferences. Jan has served on BOMA’s Charity Benefit Committee since 2006 and received BOMA Boston’s Prestigious “Affiliate Company and Member of the Year Awards” in 2008 and 2010.
