Katie Rothenberg has been executing sustainability initiatives in the built environment for over 13 years. As VP of Sustainability, she leads The Tower Companies’ sustainability and health initiatives across a 6 MSF owned-and-managed residential and commercial portfolio. Katie’s expertise lies in her varied experience. She was Managing Director of green building consulting firm Paladino & Company. Under her leadership, Paladino significantly grew its healthy building and ESG offerings. Katie led HITT Contracting’s sustainability and innovation efforts, creating an award-winning CSR program, and built the 1st mass timber and 1st ILFI Petal certified project in VA. At CBRE she achieved LEED EB certification for over 20 MSF. Katie got her start when she left real estate to join USGBC, where she increased the uptake of LEED. Katie holds an MBA from The University of Denver and a BS from CU Boulder. She is a LEED Fellow and holds a Certificate in Corporate Citizenship from Boston College.
