Dr. Badri Hiriyur is the Founder and CEO of T2D2 - a cloud-based asset management SaaS platform for detecting and mapping damage and degradation of structures using computer vision from drone or mobile device camera feeds. He previously served as the Director of Artificial Intelligence at Thornton Tomasetti, where he led the CORE.AI group which conducts research and develops products that use AI to transform various workflows and processes within the AEC sector. Prior to establishing CORE.AI at Thornton Tomasetti, Dr. Hiriyur spent several years developing high-performance computational fluid dynamics software for the US Navy. Dr. Hiriyur has an extensive background in deep learning, computer vision and robotics. Dr. Hiriyur has a masters degree (2003) from Johns Hopkins and a Ph. D (2012) from Columbia University.
