Erik Malmstrom is CEO of SafeTraces, a Bay Area-based biotechnology leader focused on indoor air quality. SafeTraces has developed the first diagnostic platform for testing and verifying ventilation and filtration performance for removing aerosol contaminants, consisting of field assessments using patented aerosol tracing technology, cloud-based data analytics, and an annual verification mark in partnership with UL. Erik has extensive leadership experience in early stage technology companies, as well as business and government. He is a combat veteran and graduate of U.S. Army Ranger and Airborne Schools. Erik received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a joint M.B.A. – M.P.P. from Harvard Business and Kennedy Schools.
