In 1987 Simon joined and eventually became CEO of Healthy Buildings specializing in indoor air quality. The firm grew to be a leader in the field and was sold to UL in 2019. Simon earned LEED and WELL APs in 2009/2016 and honored as BOMA Life Member in 2020. He serves on the Board of Directors of The GBI and on the Advisory Board of SafeTraces Inc.
