Wouter Dekkers brings more than 20 years of financial and organizational development experience to Movie Park Germany, having worked for international organizations such as KPMG, Ernst &Young and engineering company Arcadis. He initially joined Walibi Holland, the Dutch theme park formerly owned by Six Flags and Star Parks, in October 2000 as Director of Finance and Human Resources and transferred in 2005 in Movie Park Germany. In February 2007, he took over the position of General Manager in which he was responsible for the development and execution of the new IP orientated strategy and opened the first Nickland area in Europe. Since then he added Shrek and his friends, the X-men to the film IP portfolio of Movie Park Germany. In June 2011 he opens the new indoor coaster themed around the well-known Vampire Hunter Van Helsing.
