With Behavioral Health issues costing employers $17B annually in absenteeism and reduced productivity and accounting for 21% of healthcare costs, it is an subject gaining significance as employers seek was to improve the health of the total population. With a long history of specialty consulting in the field of Behavioral Health, Sandra has had many opportunities to assist employers by leveraging both clinical and theoretical expertise as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). Throughout her career in the field, Sandra has provided clients with expertise on Behavioral Health programs, pharmacy benefit management and plan audit and clinical assessments. Other projects have included large-scale employer and public sector plan implementation projects working with network and medical claims payors, pharmacy benefit managers and other specialty carve-outs. This deep collection of experiences provides the opportunity to assess an employer’s Behavioral Health strategy as a whole, integrating and making connections between programs for cost-effective, cohesive delivery of care and favorable consumer experience that drive meaningful results for employer and employee alike. Sandra holds a BA in Economics from New York University and an MSW in Social Work from Grand Valley State University.
