Jay Hocutt, is the UCOR Construction and Heavy Equipment Program Manager. Jay has 27+ years field experience in Management and Leadership roles involving the safe operation of heavy equipment. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Well Driller (CWD) (TN/SC licensed), Certified Safety Trained Supervisor (STS), and Certified Forklift inspector (Crane Inspection Certification Bureau). Additional qualifications include, Blue Dragon-Root Cause Analysis Trained, Competent Person Excavation and Competent Person Rigger . Jay has also served as the health and safety manager for an environmental drilling operation that performed work for DOD, DOE, Duke Energy, AECOM, URS and Exxon Mobile. Serving more than 12 years in the US Army, he was responsible for training for the 2nd Brigade and 24th Infantry Division Tank Gunner Program.
