Kathleen Sedney is the Acting Chief of Staff and the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) for Audits, Inspections, and Evaluations for the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), Office of Inspector General (OIG). She has over 20 years of experience as an auditor and forensic accountant. Prior to joining the DOI’s OIG, Kathleen was the Deputy AIG for Audits at the Social Security Administration OIG. Kathleen began her Federal career as an auditor with Department of State OIG. Kathleen started her career with KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner.
