Adolfo Romero serves as Senior Director of Event Programming for the new Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment District at Hollywood Park. In this role Romero will secure, market, and sell major events within the stadium and across the 298 acre entertainment district. A SoCal native, Adolfo makes his way back to area after spending the past four years at Major League Soccer as the Senior Director of International Events, where he oversaw the placement and execution of international matches with key MLS and SUM stakeholders such as CONCACAF, the US Soccer Federation, and the MEXTOUR. Additionally, he was involved in special events for the league, including the Gold Cup, MLS Cup and MLS All-Star. Prior to MLS, Adolfo had several other stops within the Soccer world, including stints with CONCACAF, Copa America and Chivas USA. Before transiting to New York, Adolfo spent nearly six years at Herbalife within the marketing and sponsorship divisions where he managed experiential marketing activations both locally and globally.
