Erin is the current Assistant Director for Events at IU Auditorium in Bloomington, Indiana. Her love of events and student engagement led her to a career in the Universities sector and to joining the wonderful team at IU. As the Assistant Director for Events, Erin oversees rental sales, booking, planning, and execution of events at IU Auditorium and it's off site venues. Erin is passionate about sharing her experiences and helping mentor and guide young professionals in our industry. Erin began her career at Kennesaw State University with the Department of Event and Venue Management (EVM) as a student employee with Night Owl Productions then moving into a full-time role. Three years ago she made the move to Bloomington to start the position of Guest Services Manager for IU Auditorium. Erin has been an active member of IAVM since getting involved as a student intern during VenueConnect in 2016. She is currently involved with the Universities committee as well as serving as the Chair for the GuestX Committee.
