Lindsey Peckinpaugh is a Principal and Practice Leader for Sports, Recreation, and Entertainment in the Chicago office of Perkins&Will. Lindsey has contributed her expertise to the design of professional athletic venues, campus recreation and community recreation projects throughout the country. Lindsey has contributed her excellent project management skills to over $600M in sports and recreation facility construction over her twenty year career. Some of her notable projects include The PPL Center at One City Center (Allentown, PA), The Ulker Arena (Istanbul, Turkey), Independence Event Center (Independence, MO), Dodge City Event Center (Dodge City, KS) and Marquette University's Athletic and Human Performance Research Center (Milwaukee, WI). A natural consensus builder, Lindsey is a skilled moderator who excels at public outreach, stakeholder engagement, and building strategic framework for complex projects, both large and small. While the design and construction of projects is thrilling, Lindsey finds the greatest sense of accomplishment from the positive impact buildings have on their communities. What drew her to the market was ultimately the inclusive and communal nature of the work. Creating spaces where communities gather, recreate, cheer on their teams, and focus on their wellness "is incredibly challenging, and also incredibly fun work!” says Lindsey.
