Rob Potts has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University and a MBA from Lehigh University. He started his career with the Eastman Kodak Company as a technical sales engineer in New York City and then left Kodak to create his first start-up company, Mack Color Graphics. That company was sold and he was made the Chief Technology Officer of Cadmus Communications, a $750M mid-cap publicly traded company, and oversaw the digital technical development of 14 different sites with over 4,500 employees with locations in the US, Europe, and India. Rob then joined a private equity company firm where he was the CEO of 11 different companies. The last start-up he created was in the renewable energy sector using combined-heat-and-power gas turbines to supply electricity and thermal energy to very large food processing plants and was sold to a publicly traded company. This company was sold to a publicly traded renewable energy company where he was made the President and COO. Rob officially joined Renewlogy as the COO in February of 2019. Rob and his wife Becky are the parents of five children and they enjoy hiking/biking the mountains in the summer and skiing in the winter.
