Anthony Morris, P.Geo., is an Engineering Geologist with Canadian Pacific Railway, located in CP’s head office in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He has been with CP for 37 years and has been responsible for the management of CP’s Rock Slope Stabilization Program for the past 25 years across the entire CP system in Western and Eastern Canada and the Northeast U.S. This has included the planning, design and implementation of inspection and slope mitigation projects on an annual basis. He initially worked as tunnel geologist during the construction of the Mount MacDonald 9 mile long tunnel. He is currently also responsible for the inspection and stabilization of nearly 70 tunnels across the CP system.
