Tim Schmidt is a Senior Associate and Transit Director California, a position he has held for the past two years. Tim joined LAN in 1989 and has held progressively more responsible positions and has worked on transit and rail projects for the past 26 years of his career with LAN. The majority of his career was spent in North Texas where he supported Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) through the design and construction of approximately 37 miles of the 90 miles of light rail beginning with a 4-mile segment of the 20-mile starter system. His latest assignment brought him to the Bay Area where he is the Design Manager for the Berryessa Extension as well as developing additional opportunities for LAN.
