Brandon Haugen – General Manager, Kalispel Development Company Brandon Haugen was born-and-raised in Spokane, WA, and loves the Lilac City. He is passionate about economic development, especially around real estate and how people interact with place. Brandon has a Master in Business Administration degree from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Wyoming. He is a Kalispel Tribal member and began his career working for the Tribe in 2008, where he helped manage the $100 million-dollar hotel and casino expansion at Northern Quest Resort & Casino. Since then, Brandon has been actively involved in developing the Tribe’s properties in Airway Heights, Washington, where his goal is to help advance the Tribe’s vision for economic diversification beyond gaming. Some of his previous projects include award winning Kalispel Markets and Chevron gas stations, Fatburger franchises, Kalispel Linen Services (a commercial laundry facility), the purchase and development of the Kalispel Golf and Country Club, and Master Planning the future development of the Tribe’s land in Airway Heights. Brandon and his wife Anna, have three beautiful and well-behaved children, Frankie, Phillip and Marianna. He loves staying engaged in the community, taking advantage of our great outdoors, and being overly involved in athletics, especially football, where Brandon played for the Wyoming Cowboys.
