Richard Schwartz co-founded Rush Street Interactive (RSI) in 2012. In his role, he oversees the vision, strategy, product development and operations for RSI as well as the company’s TV production company, Rush Street Productions. RSI develops, licenses, and operates real money online sportsbooks and casinos in regulated markets across the Americas, such as www.playsugarhouse.com in New Jersey and www.rushbet.co in Colombia. In addition, RSI supplies and operates social casino and sportsbook solutions. Previously, Richard started and led the interactive business for WMS Industries, which in 2010, launched the award-winning UK-facing online casino business, Jackpot Party. Richard has been a leader and innovator in the gaming industry for over 15 years, is an inventor on over 80 patents/patent applications, and has a deep appreciation for player psychology. Prior to joining the gaming industry, Richard was an executive at Telecom Italia Lab (U.S.) and an intellectual property attorney in the Silicon Valley. Richard graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and received his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
