Mark Vogel is the director of network architecture & strategy for the Connectivity Solutions division of CommScope, a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks. He is responsible for the research and development of new optical and RF technologies for use in the Telecommunications industry. Mr. Vogel has been with CommScope for 15 years and holds over 25 patents. Prior to his current role, Mr. Vogel was Director of technology development for seven years and held similar positions at Telecordia, Ameritech, and 3Com. He earned his bachelor of arts in physics and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Washington University.
