An architect, Jessica Roddenberry is BRPH’s Director of Design. In addition to setting strategic vision and messaging at BRPH, she leads process and collaboratively oversees design efforts for 8 regional offices and across 5 market sectors. Jessica has worked with the world’s leading innovators to develop site programs and building designs in support of her client’s business and strategic growth plans. Her diverse project experience includes education, aviation, aerospace, entertainment and commercial typologies, ranging from 3,000 square foot incubation hubs to 450,000 square foot research and development centers with expertise in leveraging innovative cross-market strategies. Jessica’s passion is in implementing a human-centered process which utilizes the principles of design thinking to build consensus across multiple stakeholders and future-cast the true needs of end users in support of a client’s culture and business model. Her designs provoke an experiential design quality that is indicative of a desire to evoke and cultivate various degrees of engagement, ensuring that the viability of human-centric spaces remain paramount in consideration of how we perceive and navigate design in the 21st century. With almost 20 years of educational design experience, Jessica has consulted with institutional entities nation-wide on strategies for balancing pedagogy and practicum in their learning environments to ensure students and trainees emerge from their programs with the technical, critical-thinking and soft skills needed to be successful in the rapidly-evolving, globally-connected workplace.
