Ed serves as the global head of Aerospace and Defense in the Global Industrials Group. He joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Ed served as the global head of Aerospace and Defense at Moelis & Company for eight years. As one of the earliest Moelis & Company partners, he was actively involved in the development and expansion of the firm. Earlier in his career, he served as the head of Aerospace and Defense at CIBC World Markets and previously worked in both the Technology and Industrials Groups at Oppenheimer & Company, Inc. Ed earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Middlebury College in 1986 and earned an MBA in Finance from the New York University Stern School of Business in 1988.
