Mr. Sundbom is presently the Manager of Engineering for the Energy Division. His managerial responsibilities include project staffing, staff recruitment, training, department marketing and business development. Mr. Sundbom is responsible for overall engineering coordination between the project disciplines for design, specifications, and contract drawing preparation for engineering, procurement, and construction documents and drawings. Mr. Sundbom has been project manager, technical consultant, project mechanical lead engineer, mechanical design engineer, and resident field engineer for both new installations and retrofit projects. His responsibilities included specifying gas turbine generators, steam turbine generators, heat recovery steam generators, condensers, boiler feed pumps, condensate pumps, and other mechanical balance of plant mechanical equipment. Mr. Sundbom has been responsible for overseeing specifications and designs of mechanical systems and equipment for power generation and cogeneration facilities including preparing and reviewing equipment specifications, mechanical construction specifications, feasibility studies, and designing various mechanical systems.
