Brian Mehalic has over 17 years of experience designing, installing, inspecting, and servicing all types and sizes of PV and energy storage systems. He began his career as Lead Technician and Project Manager at EV Solar Products in Arizona, and then became Project Engineer for O2 Energies in North Carolina, working with the developer on system design, performance modeling, and performing quality assurance inspections on over 100 megawatts of ground-mounted PV. Currently he is a Senior Technical Adviser for SEI Professional Services, providing services including system engineering and quality assurance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance; an Instructor and Curriculum Developer for Solar Energy International; and a member of NEC® Code Making Panel 4.
