Jeff Reid is a Principal in charge of sales and marketing for some of the largest clients in the Energy Global Practice at Burns & McDonnell in Kansas City, MO. In addition, he has Director responsibilities for Canada for power generation pursuits and execution. Jeff started his career at Burns & Mac in 1997 as a Structural Engineer working on large retrofit projects for the refinery industry and power plants. Jeff first moved into a marketing role in 2001 and was part of a team for one of the company’s largest at the time 2 x 1 combined cycle for Alliant Energy at Emery Generating Station. Jeff has been instrumental in leading Burns & Mac’s marketing efforts for 6 of the Top 10 Energy clients. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Iowa State University in Ames, IA, and subsequently a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering also at ISU.
