Andrew Wright enters his fourth year as the head coach at the University of Charleston (WV). The Golden Eagles had a record break season in 2018 winning a program record 36 games and making UC’s first appearance in an NCAA Regional. Wright came to UC from MEC power Concord University, where he spent five years as the Mountain Lion head coach. During his tenure, the Mountain Lions averaged 31 wins and had two NCAA Regional appearances. Additionally, Wright has served on the staff at West Virginia University, head coach of the Wilmington Sharks in the Coastal Plain League, pitching coach at Georgetown Prep & lead instructor at Bethesda-Chevy Chase Baseball Facility. He’s also scouted for the Milwaukee Brewers and served as batting practice pitcher for the Princeton Rays, a Tampa Bay Rays affiliate.
