Doug Wren is in his 10th season as head coach at Tyler Junior College. In that time period, Wren has been named the ABCA/Diamond National Coach of the Year in NJCAA Div. III four-times, winning four national titles with the Apaches. In addition to his success on campus, Wren was selected to guide the NJCAA National Baseball team this past summer where he led them to a runner-up finish at the National Baseball Congress World Series. Wren has also served as an NJCAA USA National Team assistant coach as well as an assistant at Weatherford College and with the Weatherford Wranglers of the Texas Collegiate League. He has five-times been a coach in the Texas-New Mexico Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game.
