Jake McKinley

Jake McKinley was hired in December as the Pitching Coordinator for the Milwaukee Brewers. Last year, as head coach at William Jessup University, McKinley’s team posted a 41-17 record and a 27-9 mark in conference play. McKinley came to WJU after a four-year stint at Menlo College where he compiled a 131-92 record. In his four short years at Menlo, four of his players were selected in the Major League Baseball Draft and McKinley was recognized as MLB Scouts Northern California College Coach of the Year in 2016. He also coached include 12 All-Conference honorees, six NAIA All-Americans, four NAIA Academic All-Americans, six Scholar-Athletes, and two Capital One Academic All-District selections. Prior to Menlo College, McKinley spent four years as an assistant coach at NCAA Division I Sacramento State where he served as Director of Baseball Operations, Volunteer Assistant and then Recruiting Coordinator.
