With 37 years of nursing experience, including 17 years in Home Health and Hospice leadership, Kristie Meers is a dedicated healthcare executive committed to quality, compliance, and operational excellence. As Chief Clinical Officer at Careficient, she provides strategic leadership, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing clinical workflows, and spearheading consulting services. Kristie has extensive expertise in accreditation, regulatory oversight, and clinical operations, having worked as a CHAP Consultant and a Quality Compliance Coordinator. She has led organizations through successful accreditation processes, conducted mock surveys, and implemented effective quality improvement initiatives. Her work has helped numerous agencies navigate CMS regulations, reduce ADR risks, and enhance patient care standards. A skilled educator and speaker, Kristie has developed and delivered training programs on clinical documentation, compliance, and best practices for home health and hospice providers. She has presented at national industry conferences, authored policies and procedures, and mentored healthcare professionals in regulatory excellence. Kristie’s leadership extends beyond compliance—she excels in team building, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making. Her commitment to patient-centered care and operational efficiency makes her a sought-after expert in the field. She holds a BSN from Minnesota State University Moorhead, an ADN from Missouri Western State University, and a Teaching Certification from Central Missouri State University.
