Mike Olsen is Senior Director, Business Development in Equinor’s New Energy Solutions business area, where his focus includes stakeholder engagement, public policy, and regulatory issues that impact the company’s offshore wind activities in the U.S. He was previously Senior Counsel in the Washington, D.C. office of Bracewell & Giuliani. Prior to that, Mike served for almost six years in the Bush Administration at the U.S. Department of the Interior, most recently as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Land and Minerals Management. In that capacity, he oversaw a wide range of energy and environmental issues, including the development of offshore renewable energy. Before joining the Interior Department, Mike was Director of the Office of Native American and Insular Affairs for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Resources.
