Steve Haston




Steve Haston retired after 28 years with the Fire Department where he served as the hazardous materials coordinator, as a hazmat specialist with Indiana Task Force One and ladder engineer. Haston currently is the UAS coordinator for Hamilton County Emergency Management and operates a fleet of two Matrice 210 and Two Mavic Enterprise UAV. Haston is a licensed manned aviator and holds an FAA Part 107. Haston coordinates a collaborative County Wide Drone Working Group. Partners include Law Enforcement, Fire Departments, Hospitals, DOT, Civil Air Patrol, and Critical Infrastructure Stake Holders. The program began operation May 1, 2017.
