John Mankins

John Mankins understands that professional contractors want water control solutions that optimize their time, perform to expectations, and last job after job. With 15 years in the plumbing world, his background has taken him from the field to behind the scenes—from Journeyman to Market Analyst to Product Manager, from working on plumbing projects for new homes and remodels to sales forecasting, strategy, and product development in the various plumbing sectors. All of his experience translates into what it takes to deliver on customer demands. Since his tenure at Zurn, he’s been a key player for effective product launches, including the ACV line, large stainless steel backflow line, FCIS backflow flood prevention system, and 625XL replacement pressure-reducing valve (to name a few). No doubt, his contributions support the company’s proven portfolio of water control solutions and loyal customer base. Academically, Mankins is just as accomplished. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the San Luis Obispo School of Law.
