Mark Lamberson, CPD, is the Virtual Design and Construction Manager for the Limbach Company in Pontiac, Michigan. He began his career as a Licensed Plumber certified in backflow prevention testing, welding, and med gas installation. A self-acknowledged “CAD junkie,” he applied computerized drafting to his position as a Project Foreman and soon found himself behind a desk working on projects like the Facility for Rare Isotope beams in Lansing, Michigan and the Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit. He has worked on many design/build projects and acquired the CPD designation in 2013. Mark was awarded the 2017 Engineer of the Year Award by the Michigan Chapter of ASSE and constantly strives to help designers understand the “mysteries behind the curtain” of plumbing subcontracting.
